This mod will replace your fancy Vega Knuckles with a pair of Blender-bent power fists.
I took original Vega Knuckles and bent them into something similar to power fists from the Fallout franchise. Since I have no clue how to work with textures I just made the model somewhat complex so it retains most details from the original, even though its textures are extremely simple. Naturally, I haven't translated everything 1:1 and removed certain details I didn't fancy.
Features:
-Functional unsheathing animation
-Needlessly high polygon count compared to the original. ~720 vs ~85000
-No textures since I don't want to learn UVs lmao
-Weapon structure still makes no sense!
Known Issues:
-Since I have no idea how bones work, weapon placement is kinda broken when sheathed. Both power fists will be placed slightly above where monk weapons are usually located.
-Replacing weapons other than Vega Knuckles will probably cause unsheathing animations to break or worse. I have no idea how to force the unsheathing animation to work on other weapons.
-The model was only tested on female Viera and Au Ra. Expect horrible clipping on chonky males.
-Each power fist is 85000 polygons. I don't know how it will affect performance. Perhaps most of the stuff doesn't even render since details are so small.
If you want to change the color of the power fists - edit row 16 on each of 4 materials. I named them so it shouldn't be too confusing. Tile materials won't work properly cause I didn't put textures onto the model
If you want to somehow edit/fix/improve the mod - feel free to do so. I haven't used anything but the stuff I pulled through TexTools. Feel free to use it for your ERP sessions. I don't care.
