The map of Garlemald found in both Laterum and at Senatus, scaled down 50% for a more convenient travel-size during your forays into the ruins of the once-glorious seat of the Garlean Empire.
Subject to change as the reconstruction efforts continue. Drone attack and looter insurance not included.
Q&A
Q: How did you make this?
A: I used Reslogger to dig up the model string and hashes, used those to search up the model and textures in FFXIV Explorer, extracted them both, did some Photoshop magic to fix the texture issues, added an armature for the model and UV mapped the textures in Blender, and then did a typical model and texture import in TexTools.
Q: Why did you shrink it?
A: The original is a little too big to be practical for general use, roleplay-wise. See the picture for comparison.
Known Issues:
• Though not fallen or entirely dismantled, the Garlean Empire has been severely weakened following the assassination of the Emperor Varis zos Galvus, a civil war for succession destroying the majority of the capital, the exile of Emperor Zenos zos Galvus, the alleged death of the entire royal family (Titus still remains unaccounted for as of Patch 6.5), and the ongoing rebellions in the provinces. The interim government has yet to name a new Emperor, or officially declare the reformation of the Garlean Empire into a new political system.
