The base pistol underneath is not the salvaged part of this assembly, no, rather it's the upgrades! Various steam (and ceruleum) parts have been connected to this pistol to give it some extra oomph!
How does it work? There are many theories as to how the practice of strapping pipes, gauges and heatsinks to this pistol makes it hit harder. One is that supposedly the pipes coat the bullet tips with ceruleum, so when they fly to their target, they glow blue and hot! Another is that the steam elements are connected in such a way that it somehow pushes the bullet out faster! The last theory is the only actual functioning part is the heatsink, and the rest is for show.
This weapon has 5 variants all of which support dual dyes. Dye 1 is the main metal, and Dye 2 is the wood grip.
