Not a fan of the new Dawntrail neon-bright LED limbal rings? Got you covered. This mod greatly reduces the glow of Auri limbal rings from male and female Au Ra faces 1, 2, 3, and 4, for both Raen and Xaela.
The Dawntrail limbal glow adjustments made it much more difficult to get limbal ring colors that actually match the color on the color picker. It made darker colors look too bright and lighter colors look blown out and desaturated. I have adjusted it so that the color of the limbal ring matches the color displayed in the color picker much closer, and they are no longer too light or too bright.
Theoretically, this mod should work just fine with any face mods or eye texture mods that do not make any other edits to the paths or material constants of IRI A of your face. Just be sure to set this one at a higher priority than your face mod. But if you have any other changes to the IRI A material of your chosen face, such as mods that adjust spheremap/"catchlight" type, add custom texture paths for your specific face, adjust the sclera color, make a separate IRI B for asym eye textures, or anything similar, this mod might not work together with it.
However, it's SUPER easy to go in and make whatever other mod you're using have the same limbal de-glow effect. Simply edit the IRI material of whatever mod you're primarily using, find the Shader Constants tab, and change the value of field "g_IrisRingEmissiveIntensity" to a value of 0.035 (or similar, you can scale the value as you wish) and that will make it match the level I have chosen here. I chose this value because I felt that complete 0 was a bit too dark compared to the color picker, and I highly doubt you'll see any glow at all while using 0.035, but you can set it to 0 if you like the look better.
