Note: You will need Penumbra (or at least something that can take its pmp file type? idk) to use this mod.

"Man, Female Elezen look cool, but I really don't like their animations. I'd love if I could use Miqo'te ones instead, they have so much more personality and look so much more natural."
"Oh, someone actually made a mod that does exactly that."

Now I love this mod and it got me to switch to Elezen for my character, but it only affects idle/moving/jumping animations. Which is great when you're running around cities, but when you enter cutscenes, well, an issue starts to crop up.

Normally, when you use an emote, there's a smooth transition between your idle stance and the emote, because it's designed to start with your idle pose. When your idle pose is changed to be very different looking, there's a pretty obvious snap between the two at the beginning and end of an emote's animation. This eventually started to bug me a bit, so I set out to fix this by making a new mod that copies over much more of the Miqo'te animations, so that there's less snapping between Elezen and Miqo'te ones.

Now, one issue that immediately cropped up is that some Miqo'te animations animate the ears, which... doesn't look great on Elezen. I figured some people might still want to try these out anyways so I separated these into individual checkboxes just in case you don't care or like wearing big hats anyways.

There's also a few misc animations that don't have ear issues, but I disabled anyways for personal preference, with the same checkboxes to re-enable them if you like.
* Rally (I prefer the default Elezen one, less cutesy)
* Sit (same as above)
* Pose (I don't like the little paw curl at the end)
* Linkpearl (emote works fine, this is the cutscene version, character holds finger in the air where the miqo'te ear would normally be)

This is the first time I've made a mod like this, and there's a lot of animations that I didn't quite go through entirely, so there's probably a few redundant files and/or something odd-looking that I didn't disable. But I haven't noticed anything from my own testing, so I figured it's probably in a decent shape for others to use. If you find an animation I missed then uh, oops.

How to install:
1. Open Penumbra while in game and go to the Mods tab
2. Near the bottom left, click the paper icon with a left arrow, should say "Import one or multiple mods from Tex Tools Mod Pack Files or Penumbra Mod Pack Files"
3. Navigate to the folder you downloaded the mod to, and select it. Should say it successfully extracted 1 / 1 files.
4. Go to the page for the mod, check Enabled under the Settings tab. If for some reason the Ear Stretching emotes are enable by default, I recommend unchecking these but obviously you do you.
5. Near the bottom to the right of where it says Redraw, click Self. Or just go to another map/instance and the redraw will happen automatically. If the run animation looks like the Miqo'te jog instead of the Elezen prance, it's working!
