Japanese service rifle Howa Type 89
The Type 89 is a really cool and interesting rifle that features some interesting design elements! It has a the same bolt design as the AR-180, can take STANAG type magazines (steel) while also having a proprietary magazine that has a catch that catches the bolt on the last round fired. When using a standard M16 magazine, the bolt will remain forward (much like on an AK-action!).
It's just a cool and interesting rifle that I want to learn more about, but because it's so unique I thought it'd be cool to have in Eorzea!
Thus the JSDF fought there..
