To be specific about what that means here: the textures are generated by
code — rounded rectangles in colours sampled from ÆTHERIS UI. No image
model was used and no art was traced from anyone's work. The colours are
measured from ÆTHERIS's own textures and from screenshots of ÆTHERIS
windows in game. The reverse engineering of the .uld/.tex file formats was
AI-assisted, working from the open-source Lumina and Penumbra
implementations. Every visual decision was made and tested by a human in
the actual game.

Patch 7.4's Command Panel is a 5x5 grid wrapped in a lot of frame. This takes the wasted space out of it and restyles it, in two looks.

IT WASTES SPACE. 32px margins on both sides and an empty strip above the tab row, for a grid that needs none of it. Now 248x278 instead of 292x320 — roughly 25% less screen — with every icon still full size.

THE GEAR AND CLOSE BUTTONS HAD THEIR OWN HEADER ROW. They now sit in the tab row next to 1 2 3 4, which is what freed the space above them.

The teal accent along the bottom appears only while the panel has focus, matching how ÆTHERIS marks focused windows.

TWO STYLES, switchable in Penumbra:
• Windowed — the standard ÆTHERIS window chrome most panels use, like the inventory.
• Minimal — no background at all, slot markers matched to your action bars.

ÆTHERIS UI AIO is strongly recommended. The layout changes work with any theme, but the panel's buttons and icon frames come from shared textures ÆTHERIS themes, and both styles here are drawn to match its palette. Without it the compacting still helps, but it won't look like the screenshots.

Only touches ui/uld/quickpanel.uld and the two quickpanel textures. Penumbra file redirection — no game files are modified. Ships both texture resolutions, so low-resolution UI clients work too.

⚠ IMPORTANT: In Penumbra, Settings → Advanced → "Auto Reduplicate UI Files on PMP Import" must be UNCHECKED, or it will break this mod. Same caveat ÆTHERIS UI carries.
