Stagehand

AI was not used in any part of Stagehand.

Stagehand (https://stagehandxiv.com) is a Dalamud plugin that lets you place new objects in the world around you.

Stagehand objects are created only on your local PC and are not able to influence gameplay in any way (targeting, collision, etc), but they can be synced to other players using PlayerSync. This has many uses such as gposing, roleplay, and enhancing player or venue housing beyond what is possible with vanilla housing features.

With Stagehand you place models, VFX, lights, and weapons in arrangements called stages with very few limitations on your creativity. Specifically:

- There are no item limits of any kind. With that said, please keep in mind that if you plan on sharing your stage with others, they will likely appreciate your considering system performance as you design it.
- You can place any background model and any background VFX present in the game files, not just housing items. If a player tries to load a stage with models from an expansion that they do not own, those models will simply not display.
- You can place custom models and VFX, although modding support is still somewhat barebones.
- You can place objects with any position, any rotation, and any scale as you see fit.
- You can place your stages in any location, not just player housing. If you are sharing your stage manually or via PlayerSync, please keep in mind community norms and expectations.
- You can show and hide your stages manually or automatically when you enter a location, whichever works best for that stage.
