Author's Comments:
[Ingredients]
1 oz Cherry Vodka
1 oz Midori (melon liqueur)
1 oz Cranberry Juice
Ice cubes
Maraschino cherries and/or melon balls for garnish
[Instructions]
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Add the Cherry Vodka and Midori (melon liqueur) to the shaker.
Pour in the Cranberry Juice.
Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the ingredients.
Prepare your glass by adding some ice cubes.
Strain the shaken cocktail into the prepared glass.
Garnish the drink with a skewer of Maraschino cherries and/or melon balls.
Optionally, if you want to create a layered effect, pour the Cherry Vodka first, then slowly add the Midori, and finally, gently pour in the Cranberry Juice over the back of a spoon to create the layers.
