2026 update: Map swapping will likely never be achieved as a safe feature through modding or plugins unless a way to play XIV entirely offline is figured out, which is extremely unlikely. If you think you managed a 100% safe method - rethink. And if you insist on doubling down, consider how getting such a feature to the mainstream public will impact the modding community and SE's optics of it, and please drop it. I'm leaving this mod up with this warning as a cautionary tale. Do not attempt to replicate.

Simple File Swap that changes Gridania's Inn, The Roost, with the room Ascians used to hold meetings in back in ARR/HW, with a door(?) their seats, a podium, and a Zodiark(?) statue at the back. You will need to teleport out of it.

Proof of concept. Maybe more maps to come in the future if I can get some working paths to them.

Needs to be enabled in the 'Default' collection.

I've added a .csv (it's plain text, use Notepad++ or similar) of current Godbert's TerritoryType export, so that you can have access to and try other map paths without needing to dig into the files yourself.

ONLY USE THIS TECH ON PRIVATE AREAS, AND AT YOUR OWN RISK. INNS / APARTMENTS / PRIVATE CHAMBERS AND SUCH.
