Since you may spend some time traveling around with your Chocobo, why not give them a lil treat as well? With this, your loyal companion is no longer stuck at 1024p, (previously 512p) but now finally has been promoted to 2k!
Anyway, after hours of work extracting the red, green, blue and alpha's from the normals and specular maps, up-scaling them and putting them back together again in the exact same formula, (I'm not crazy, you are!) you can now enjoy having a higher quality companion at your side while traversing Eorzea!

1.1 - Added a 2k diffuse for the Black Chocobo mount.
