Eorzea Hair+

Was really hoping that with Dawntrail we wouldn't need external hair textures to look at least decent, the 7.0 textures are actually quite nice if you look deeper but they're riddled with compression artifacts and blockiness, I wanted to remedy this using the same methods I used in Endwalker for personal stuff, no extra bells and whistles, just tried to smooth things out.

Features:
• Up to date with 7.50
• Only hair shader is covered, and only hairs and ears.
• On average textures hover around 2048 pixels width or height
• Covers all races under character folder
• Some demihumans/monsters are covered (Eg. Gaia, Zenos)

FAQ:
1. Why?

Because I had time to kill and a method to give myself satisfactory textures, not to mention it was relatively fast and easy.

2. Why does the mod only cover hair shader?

Faces look fine to me, and I don't have a upscaling model I feel confident using for other stuff, lastly accessory textures need jesus not an upscale.

3. Why does the mod only cover hairs rather than beards and eyebrows?

For the most part because I don't think these need a higher resolution, could make a case for some actual beard that is mostly on NPCs like Cid, but the chin scruff/eyebrow isn't going to get much mileage imo.

4. Will more stuff be added?

Yeah, I would like to add more Demihuman/Monsters using hair shader, aforementioned beards, generally hair shader that looks pixelated.

5. [Insert assumption that isn't really a question]

No.

Perms: Do not repost wholesale, You don't need to include it in your mod if you just use base game paths, but if you need to atlas or something then go ahead.
