IMPORTANT: Patch 7.3 broke some components of this mod, so please make sure to update to the latest version.
This is something that I made to tide myself over until SE introduces a colour picker for all of their default UIs. /copium
It is essentially a recolour of the game's Clear Blue UI. I made this because I like the look of the UI itself, but wanted purple to be the base colour instead of blue. I have changed as many UI elements as I could find. You may find that I might have missed a few things, and alternatively, you may find that I have changed too many things. Please look forward to it. Most things have been edited to have a shade in the spectrum between purple and white, except for stuff that benefits from having colour distinction, like tank/healer/DPS roles and materia slots.
I highly recommend using this map mod [https://xivmodarchive.com/modid/109645] alongside my UI mod. It makes all the maps greyscale; they look much better with my mod than the default yellow ones.
As a bonus, I've also edited the PVP UI. Instead of the default colour scheme that I've taken to calling "Eyesore Yellow/Brown", it is now an inoffensive off-white with subtle purple accents.
This mod can only be installed through Penumbra. Make sure you have Clear Blue UI enabled and UI Resolution set to High in the game's settings, and that this mod is in the Collection affecting Interface under Simple Assignments, or the modified UI won't appear. After installing, you will need to log out and log in again for the UI to be fully loaded.
This is a work in progress; I will be adding updates as and when I find new elements to edit. PM me on Discord (same username) if you find anything that has escaped my purple wrath. Bribing me with pics of cute Midlander girls is highly encouraged.
