Universal Pathing Compatibility

Includes assets from several known Gen 3 bodies.

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE USING

This mod is a temporary measure for redirecting old and presently incorrect body paths to post Dawntrail standard pathing regardless of what body is being used. If you are using a base body that is already using the pathing that will be listed below you should not use this mod. You should also consider updating to a body with the latest supported pathing before you consider using this mod.

If you do not plan on using tattoos/scales or Loose Texture Compiler you should not use this mod.

If you are using a body that is currently incompatible with Loose Texture Compiler you may consider using this mod to improve compatibility. This mod will replace the materials of whatever base body you are using so do be aware of that, and any possible consequences that may occur.

Bibo pathing will be forcibly changed to its established standard set by Bizu:

chara/bibo_[Race Identifier]base.tex
chara/bibo[Race Identifier]norm.tex
chara/bibo[Race Identifier]_mask.tex

Gen 3 pathing will be forcibly changed to its established standard set by Titan Firm:

chara/human/[Race Code]/obj/body/b0001/texture/tfgen3[Race Identifier]f_base.tex
chara/human/[Race Code]/obj/body/b0001/texture/tfgen3[Race Identifier]f_norm.tex
chara/human/[Race Code]/obj/body/b0001/texture/tfgen3[Race Identifier]f_mask.tex

While using this mod, all support questions should go to the FFXIV Sounds And Textures discord. Do not bother original body creators.

How to Install:

Use penumbra to load the mod, set the mod priority above your body of choice. Any tattoo or scale mods should be set to a higher priority than this mod. Any custom material edits should go above this mod (and also use the standard pathing listed by this mod)

Enable “Universal Pathing Fix”

Once pathing has been changed to the standard pathing supported by Loose Texture Compiler, your character will likely turn invisible at first. Select one of the skin options included in the mod.

If your character does not turn invisible at first when installing this mod, you may not need this mod, and the body you are using already uses the standard paths.
If your tattoo/scale mods already work without this mod you do not need this mod.

This mod may be decommissioned at a later time once enough bodies are fully up to date with standard pathing.
