Hello!
I saw Feiyu/Cake created a mod similar to how my wife and I portray this characters hair in her artwork, but it wasn't exactly what we needed. So, with some edits and permission to release from the original creator I thought I'd share it here.
Now, this is based on an older version of their mod which I personally preferred, and it did take a fair bit of effort to get it to where it is now (mainly due to inexperience). There might be some clipping issues, but, for the most part that should be sorted out?
Feel free to make any edits of your own if you think it should be changed or improved, just be sure to credit myself and Feiyu/Cake!
Now with SOME Hat Compatibility!
DO Expect some possible clipping!
DO NOT Expect a flawless experience!
For Hoods, I have added a "Just Bangs" optional version which you can download here:

I've ensured the main casting hats I would want to use on my character work, which is mainly anything with a wide brim and pointy tower.
Considering just how the hair is I likely will not be able to make more than some minor tweaks in the future to fix this, but, anything is possible with enough time, effort and knowledge. Who knows!

- This is based on the older Highland Cow mod so it does look a bit different than the current one
- I've never really worked on hair before as I typically do clothing edits or plugin work, so, if something is broken let me know or any recommendations on how to fix.
- Feel free to port it to whatever if you have the skillset, I can also send you my Blender and FBX file if so desired.
- With recent hat compatibility added in version 1.1 some clipping will likely be present as it's a pretty floofy hair and I'm wanting to keep the vanilla aesthetic. I've only really looked for the hats I preferred. But, I may likely work on things further depending on if something bugs me or not.
