a quick pose i did for PLD that may be a bit wonky. not my first pose, but my first upload. as someone who's actually learned some swordplay i wanted to make a nice pose that actually reflects what a real duelist's stance might look like. there are some problems with the stance itself (feet aren't quite perpendicular, the wrist's a little off, and the hand behind the back is such a cocky thing to do that it implies you're either an expert or an absolute goon) but i figure those can be chalked up to character stuff. made on an elezen, not tested on others, but it should work with tweaking.
i didn't play with wrist twist, i didn't play with shoulder twist or elbow twist, and my character's customize settings are so heavy that you MIGHT wanna turn scaling, positioning, and expression off. it looks mostly fine on my end but honestly the coat could be hiding a lot idk. neck and head might also need adjusting because i did make this to look good on an above-max-height giraffe (but please PLEASE note that one's opponent should be at the point of one's sword, and that your character should be looking in the same direction the sword's pointing when you do your adjustments; there are Real Swordplay Reasons why the stance is positioned the way it is).
