Improved Vanilla Tongues

The vanilla tongue color is shit and ass and pisses me off so I fixed it. Currently comes in only more realistic pink colored variants (theres four; when making these originally for m viera and m miqo I noticed making them slightly different shades like mattered (like when they were the same they would Look Different on each race) with how it looked. idfk why. but theres options

These are loose files ONLY !! download is just a zip with 3 overlays (aura, hroth and everyone else) + a text doc with the same instructions below so u dont gotta come back to this page in case u Forget.

Theyre intended to be compatible with vanilla make ups, here is a guide on how to use overlays in penumbra: https://xivsculpts.carrd.co/#overlays
*note if you want to just add it to your existing make-up, all youd do is just load the texture in the mod file for the make up and add the overlay as shown from the steps under the texture cheat sheet

you can also do this in textools too if you want ; just import your mod (if using a make up, if just adding to a vanilla texture you can skip this), go to Textures (left most box), choose your diffuse from the middle box dropdown (usually FAC A/B) go to the diffuse and choose “Add Overlay” and load the appropriate overlay png

works on all races + genders, aura/hroth just have slightly different layouts hence their own unique overlays.

I dont use asym so idk if it works with vanilla asym textures or not. It probably could though the textures might just need to be mirrored to do so.

I might add more tongue colors if anyones interested or s/t. just lmk. also if theres any issues lmk.
