Thanks for checking out EchoMix! This project was built to assist with live DJ performances in Final Fantasy XIV. Whether you're hosting a nightclub, tavern, concert, or community event, I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Author's Comments:
EchoMix 2.0
EchoMix turns your character into a working DJ booth. Two decks, a crossfader, a playlist library, and a live broadcast other players can tune into from inside the game or from a browser.
2.0 is a full redesign. Everything now lives behind a menu down the left, with a new Stats tab and deck colour themes. The 1.0 look is still there in Settings if you prefer it.
Mixing
- Two decks with their own gain, trim, 3-band EQ and filter
- Crossfader with Cut, Power or Linear curves
- Sync tempo-matches one deck to the other and lines the beats up
- BPM detected automatically, correctable by hand
- A tempo fader for nudging a deck up to 16%
- Auto-DJ fades into the other deck as a track ends
- Sound pads for one-shot effects
- Cue a queued track in your own headphones before it plays
- A playlist library with folders, search and a queue per deck
Going Live
- Broadcast to anyone with a room code, or list publicly so people can browse in
- Proximity mode, where only players physically near you hear it
- A web link anyone can open in a browser with no plugin at all
- Co-hosts join your room with their own full decks, and you can pass them the stage
- Song requests from listeners, rate limited and queued for you to approve
- Broadcast Spotify or a line-in device instead of the decks
Listening
- Join by room code, or browse Live Shows and click one
- Auto-join nearby shows as you walk past them
- 27 visualizer styles, chosen separately from whatever the DJ uses
Your DJ Page
- A public profile with avatar, banner, bio, genres, venues and a weekly schedule
- Likes and follows, plus a notification the moment someone you follow goes live
- Link your alts so they all count toward one listing
- Stats: shows played, time on air, listener hours, biggest room and more, monthly or all time
