Have you ever looked at Aymeric's Hot Dog Fingers in game and cringed out of your skin? Cringe no more! This mod gives Aymeric upscaled fingers from Tsar's The Body SE mod. Now our Lord Commander has the lovely fingers he deserves.
You will need to have The Body SE installed for this mod to work properly, as the skin material is asymmetrical.
Permissions: Any permissions for The Body SE apply to this mod. Other than that, you are free to use my jank work as you see fit, i.e. if you would like to combine this mod with an IllyBites mod. Merely credit me if you do use this mod for anything else.
Warnings:
I am a very new baby modder, so this will look somewhat awful if you look at the gloves close up. This mod is mainly for cutscenes, not gposing. For those more experienced in modding, if my jank vertices aggravate you to the point of making a far better version of this mod, I have done my job. However, I felt that this attempt was good enough to release on here so people do not have to suffer the dreaded Hot Dog Fingers.™
This mod does not play nice with current mods that upscale/modify Aymeric's face, such as IllyBites mods. This is because IllyBites mods move Aymeric's earcuff to his body mesh to make room for the higher poly teeth. Unfortunately, that overrides this mod because SE decided that for some reason Aymeric's gloves and fingers should be attached to his body mesh. However, if anyone out there wants to combine the two, please feel free to use this mod as a resource. Alas, currently your options are nice fingers or nice teeth, not both.
This mod does not upscale the Lord Commander's Gloves from the Online Store glamour set. You can find a mod for that here: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy14/mods/1319
Giving my boy fingers was the sole reason I got into modding. I'm rather happy with the result, and hope to create more fun mods in the future! Once I become more skilled, I may go back and touch up this mod, but for now, I rest at ease knowing Ser Aymeric's hot dog fingers are cured.
