me, for messing with the color set of the emerald carbuncle earring until it worked out lmao
Colored a Ruby version of the carbuncle earring because SE has thus far only created Emerald and Topaz, and I wish I had this idea when I was promoting and publishing the Carbuncle Delight drink mod to fill my glam even more lol.

Ruby Carbuncle Earrings replaces Emeral Carbuncle Earrings (the blue one, not the yellow one)

And hey, if for some reason the file doesn't work, here's instructions on what to do:
-Search 'Emerald Carbuncle Earrings' in the item list under By Category in TexTools
-Click it, make sure you are on the Textures tab of the earring
-Click the dropdown menu under Texture Map (the 3rd drop down menu above the display)
-Select ColorSet (this is a lot of copy and pasting of hex codes, so bear with me)
-You are going to be changing a total of 8 boxes in this, 4 from the first column, and the parallel 4 in the 3rd column (column is up and down, row is side to side)
-For the introduction to changing the color, click column 1 - row 10, and a material colorset row editor will appear
-Click the Diffuse Color button, a drop down will appear- change the selection from Standard to Advanced
-Once in advanced, you should see to the bottom right of the color block, a hex code (a # with a few letters/numbers), for column 1 - row 10, paste in this hex code -> #FFFF4A4A for the shade of red I used
-Do this same process with the same hex code for column 1 - row 14, and column 1 - row 16
-Do column 1 - row 14 with this darker shade of red -> #FF970019
-For column 4 and rows 10, 14, and 16, paste this color in the Emissive Color (3rd color in the same page as the Diffuse colors we did) -> #FF3A0303
-Which just leaves column 4 - row 13's Emissive Color of -> #FF180005
-Hit save, and once you click onto another object then back to the Emerald Carbuncle Earring, the piece should be red!
♥
(And if you want to be able to turn it on and off like a modpack, create a 'Basic Modpack' under the Mods tab, and the Create Modpacks setting in the dropdown menu.
♥
That should be everything you need to know in order to replicate the colors I had if my file doesn't work, or are just interested in the process of recoloring something!
This is my first recolor ever so please keep that in mind, if you wish to adjust the colors, go right ahead! Just open the same menus, and adjust the color sliders to your preference!!
