Disclaimer :
You might find those tanlines a bit too ... "sharp" and a bit too opaque (too white). The thing is ... there's like 50 files and I'm not changing all of them.
So ! If you want to make the tanlines a bit more soft on the edges, a bit more transparent, or whatever, or if you want to add them to your existing tattoo, you can do it !
For instructions, scroll down at the bottom of the description.
=================================================
Just a simple thong tanlines mod for you sun lovers !
Comes in 5 variations :
- Top only
- Bottom only
- Top and bottom
- Top with untouched nipples
- Top and bottom with untouched nipples
And in 2 thong variants !
- Thin, hot and curvy ~
- Straight and THICC (Honestly this is just my first - ugly - version)
Works for all races (except Hroths and Lalas), and with a scaleless option for Au Ra's !
All races textures are based on the smooth variant of bibo's skin texture.
Will probably look weird with custom shaped Au Ra scales. Custom color scales should work fine.
Transparent loose files included in the zip file, apply your regular tattoo on top of your tanline texture if needed.
Only works for Bibo.
Gen3 version available here :
https://www.xivmodarchive.com/modid/105393V1.1 Changelog :
Neck fix, the bra's tie around the neck was weirdly shaped, now fixed !
V2.0 :
Now with curvy variants !
The first version was a bit too straight, and too THICC !
I changed that to a hot, curvy, thin tanline, just for your pretty eyes.
V2.0.1 :
Added the curvy transparent export file back, which was omitted, somehow !
V3.0.0 :
Updated for Dawntrail (New bibo paths)
Please enjoy this mod, made with heart ♥

To make the tanlines softer and/or more transparent :
1) Get photoshop or gimp or whatever image editing tool you'd like, it has to support layers
2) Export your tattoo texture if you want to add the tanlines to you tattoo (if you dont know how, in penumbra, open your mod, go to advanced editing, in the textures tab select your texture and hit export to png)
3) Optionnaly, if you just want to use the base skin, without any tattoo, the base skin files are included in the zip, inside the "Base Skin Textures" folder
4) Open your image editor, import the base skin/tattoo first
5) Pick the tanline version you want to use inside the "Transparents/Bibo" folder, and import it as a new layer on top of the skin/tattoo texture
6) To make the tanlines softer (softer edges instead of super sharp) select the transparent tanlines layer and add some gaussian blur effect (On photoshop, "Filters" tab -> "Blur" -> "Gaussian Blur") and set it to 3 or 4 px, adjust how you like
7) To make the tanlines even more transparent, just lower the opacity of the transparent tanline layer
