Layer different skin mods on top of each other and tweak them while you are at it.
Onion has its own modpack format,
.omp, and can import Proteus
.pmp packs for compatibility.
It links with Penumbra for fast swapping, and works with Glamourer's mod associations.
READ THIS FIRSTOnion is built on Penumbra 1.7 beta features. Only install it if you are on the Penumbra beta.
This is a hard requirement, it will not work otherwise.
INSTALLOnion is not on the official plugin list, so you add its repo to Dalamud yourself.
1. Type
/xlsettings and open the Experimental tab.
2. Under Custom Plugin Repositories, paste this address and press the + button:

4. Open
/xlplugins, search for Onion, and install it.
USAGEType
/onion to open the window.
Drop your modpacks in, enable them, set priority for the layer order and swap on the fly.
It may take a few seconds for changes to show up on your character initially.Textures come out light for syncing. No lag, no freezes, just a smol delay.
